We are delighted to announce that the ACM SIGBED Paul Caspi Memorial Dissertation Award 2024 – 2025 has been awarded to Mario Guenzel at TU Dortmund for the dissertation titled “Property-based Timing Analysis of Distributed Real-Time Systems”, and Yuze He at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for the dissertation titled “Leveraging Infrastructure to Enhance Perception and Scene Understanding for Autonomous Driving”.
The 2024 – 2025 Award Selection Committee was chaired by Professor Wanli Chang (Hunan University, China) and included Dr. Hui Chen (Huawei Technologies), Professor Yuan-Hao Chang (Academia Sinica, Taiwan), Professor Chuchu Fan (MIT, USA), Professor Martina Maggio (University of Saarland, German), Sudeep Pasricha (Colorado State University, USA), and Amit Singh (Essex University, UK) . The committee carefully considered the nominees and selected Mario Guenzel and Yuze He in light of his contributions.
